A MS Word template built for audio/video scripting

Word pisses me off. I can't get it to behave. I need a two column word document built that will let me manipulate content at will in both the left and right columns without blowing up the rest of the document. I need to be able to add pages at will, again, without blowing everything else up. I have an example I built, but it needs to be improved and "locked down" so the manipulation of script and editing instructions can't screw the rest of it up. I have the image to decorate it, the MS Word document I built (poorly) to use as a model. Somebody who knows how to tame word and use the right combination of text boxes and graphs will have this done in a few minutes. Since I lost Publisher, I have "let go" of a lot of my documents - but I can't do without a scripting template though.
