I have been developing MS Access applications for 20 years and I can deliver the project you require in 7 days of work. However there are two things I would like to point out: 1. Preventing users from deleting records can not be 100% guaranteed with a MS Access DB unless we engage some DB server (like MS SQL Server). 2. Selecting a username from a dropdown would allow any user to impersonate other users. 3. Depending on the LAN performance, having 20+ users can put some stress on a MS Access-based shared database and risk its integrity. Once again, using a DB server would be a very good way to eliminate this risk. I have two questions: - ¿What kind of hardware will be used to scan barcodes? - ¿Are you open to exploring other ways to implement this same solution under the same budget?
