Production Manager

We are looking for a production manager / pattern maker to join our fast growing team! The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to implement schedules and procedures to ensure all aspects of production runs smoothly. In addition they will be skilled at creating and grading patterns for various apparel silhouettes. This position will oversee the production/sewing team which is based in our Orange County offices and will also work closely with design and sales. Responsibilities: Create first patterns for samples and production patterns in a timely manor Manage all sewers / Production team with COO Review patterns and layouts to ensure best consumption of fabric Manage all production by guiding and monitoring sewing and finishing team Maintain weekly WIP reports Monitor all supply inventory and project future needs Help prepare fabric with cutter and work together to reduce waste Work closely with design team to help execute new product categories Partner with COO on production schedule to ensure order dates are being met Requirements: Bilingual (Spanish/English) a must 3+ years of experience in apparel pattern making and production management Strong knowledge in pattern making, garment construction, and manufacturing including factory machinery Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work in a fast paced environment Team player who is a self starter looking to grow in a fast pace apparel start up Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
