Hi, Anyone who have experience on Linux knows that this is something which may not be reverted back fully. Since you have moved the system files, the only option to try is to move back the files from the location you have moved. But again, this may work or may not work. I can give a try to recover back. Or do you have any recent backup available.

In theory moving the files back into place should be sufficient, but in practice it's likely to require a fair amount of hand-holding and a high-level knowledge of "where things belong" on a Linux system, which is knowledge I have. (Note: the 4 day estimate for delivery includes some slack time in case of any unexpected complexities that I can't know about until I've had a closer look at your specific situation; actual delivery will hopefully be much quicker)

I would be happy to help. If you can boot in with a CD or USB, we should be able to get that sorted out, and it may not be as bad as you think, especially if you can boot with a separate Linux boot media. Feel free to chat with me if you have any questions.

I try to write down some instructions to you, I may it can help. Do the ssh login works? Is it a server what you can reach physically? if it is with a Linux live CD you could move back everything to the root of the filesystem. The rescue mode can different by some distribution, but probably from there you can mount your file system, like mount /dev/sda or /dev/sdb then use the command chroot /mnt and move back the files. I may I was able to help on you :) oh and do a reboot after moving back the files.
