I have experience in debugging these kind of problems. Can you check your kernel version and also try setting the env variable to null and set it again. I believe that you are setting it twice. Relevant Skills and Experience Peerl, Linux, Apache Stay tuned, I'm is still working on this proposal.

i can help get rid of the error msg. actually, you can do so yourself by assigning a small value to a between the 2 calls. this btw is expected behaviour Relevant Skills and Experience been using unix and linux for over 15 years now Proposed Milestones $35 USD - on completion of fixing the issue you mentioned xargs so am assuming that you are using the perl code just as an example.
