Add a GPU on a AWS EC2 Server, but not of a conventional way

Suppose for a moment that I have a running Amazon instance. I would like to install a GPU on this instance, but without using it every time I run my instance. For example, if the instance runs for 60 hours during a month X, and 10 hours for the GPU during the same month, I don't want that GPU to be charged for 60 hours of the instance, but only the 10 hours that I I used.
I need an answer and help to install it on my instance. My instance is actually a c5.2xlarge installed with Ubuntu 16.04.
