Regular cubic class learning (even a regular virtual 30-60 min classes) are not able to teach the essence of the language in the first place. In learning language: 1. It needs to be recognized, by it's sound and pattern (listening), 2. A really good emotional reason(partner, flow of language, music, culture, etc..) 3. It needs to be muttered and eventually spoken.
Then only should one learn the grammar, structure, reading, comprehension and eventually writing.
