I am considering starting an on demand hosting service for video game servers.
This task is for people who:
- know what dedicated servers are
- know what discord is
- have some experience playing multiplayer videogames
For this I need to know:
- what the most played multiplayer games with -dedicated servers- are,
- what the most played games for gamers on -discord- are,
- what competition is out there, specifically in:
- Norway
- The Netherlands
- but also world wide.
Spend 4 hours total on this project then report back.
- find the popular video games WITH dedicated servers, spend the last hour gathering the following information per game:
- Daily players
- Demographic makeup (by age and geographical location)
- Links to sources
do this for 3 hours OR until you have 20 results
- 1 hour or the remaining finding information on competition, including:
- Game servers on offer
- Pricing per game
- Website links
Report the results to me, as well with whether you felt you needed more time or
not, any critical feedback is always appreciated.
