We are in search of someone whom we can contract to research and do outreach on our behalf to media outlets for our mobile product line. We organize the storylines, the pitch, develop the email templates, and provide direction where and generally who you will reach out to. Your job is to personally email each of the authors or media members, pitch our story and facilitate an introduction with our leadership for a call.
The process is generally where you collect 150 media contacts who are reporting on relevant topics that we define. You will enter the author's name, previous story, topics, and date the story was written. Then you will track a status (researched, emailed, responded, article)
The goal is to send out 150 emails in the first pass we will pay a $25 bonus for every publication you get us inserted into following the contract.
SKILLS REQUIRED
We need someone who has some experience doing online marketing and media engagement
We need someone who is savvy searching the web and researching
We need someone who has marketed within the software / high tech industry.
Preferred that you have had some experience working with enterprise software market- SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, etc.
Preferred that you have is familiar with the mobile technology and marketplace- Apple, vs Android, HTML5 vs native apps, Google Maps vs Apple Maps
WRITING EXAMPLES ARE REQUIRED
We need someone who would be available to follow up and perform these services on a regular basis on a retainer basis through ELance (perhaps 5-8 hours per week) if this project goes well.
