We are creating an animation project. We need illustrations for the animators to work on. We are looking at illustrators who can create stylistic cartoon/caricatures based on the descriptions we will be providing. We will provide detailed descriptions, but people who are creative usually do a brilliant job when given a free reign, which we appreciate.
Since these are to eventually be animated, there are some technical requirements. The individual objects in the caricature (whether it be foreground/background), need to be individual objects (for the animators to be able to animate efficiently) and second, the color will also need to be in layers (same purpose).
The output needs to be in adobe photoshop or illustrator (or other formats which our animator can import easily into adobe after effects).
Please find the sample attached for your understanding as to our expectation in quality and style. I have also attached one image with the coloring done in illustrator format, for your easy reference.
