We have an app that works perfectly on Android and mostly works fine on Apple. This is a card reading app and the problem is as follows:

1. When you click "New Reading" the app sends an AJAX request to the server, which creates a new reading in the database and returns the reading id.

2. When the app is first installed, this AJAX request seems to fail, even though it successfully sends a request to the server (we have logged this) and shows an error message

3. If you restart the app and try again, it works perfectly.

What we need:

1. This bug should be fixed, along with any other places in the app where this bug might apply (there are lots of AJAX requests)

2. You must carry out all testing on an iPhone and provide screenshots of it working.
