Make my VPS accept curl -PUT data from VPN

I am running a script on a mobile device, that sends data by curl to my web server. Now the server has to be programmed to accept the curl data, check it, store it and reply by sampling sending "done". This is the important part of the mobile device script: if [ "$(/usr/bin/curl -L -k -s -m 10 -X PUT -d "${KEY}:${MD5SUM}:${OTHER}" [login to view URL])" = "done" ] So the device will work with the answer. The device and the server are already connected via VPN, I can send curl requests from the server to the device and it answers. But I have no idea how to setup the server to accept curl data from the client device, see if its correct and answers by sending "done" Thanks

It is not exactly clear what you mean by "accepting curl data," but we guess that you would like to implement a PHP script that reads the PUT request, process the data, and then respond with "done."
