Learning how to add an easter egg game to my website

I'm making a basic text-only personal website built using bootstrap 4. I'd like to add a button that activates a breakout-style game where the ball destroys each word. It would be fantastic to time the player and reward them if they beat a specific time. I'm a designer, not a developer, but have been working in the tech industry for about 10 years. I've made a few simple websites. I've played around with canvases but couldn't find a way to avoid pixelation.
