Dockrat and Mahomed Engineering commonly referred to as DM Engineering is a South African Technology Startup company that was started in 2016. The name is derived from the surnames of the two company founders. DM Engineering specializes in the development of Electronic Products and IT solutions as well as general electrical engineering consulting. We focus on the design and development of electronic devices and associated ecosystems to meet and exceed our clients needs. We offer cost effective solution with the aim to meet the clients needs and budgets. We do not compromise on quality of our solutions and aim for durable, robust designs that will perform beyond our customer’s expectations. We have over the last year gained experience in the following areas of technology: Circuit Design, PCB layout and routing, PCB procurement, building and testing. IoT applications (Home Automation, Energy Monitoring) Website development Databases DM Engineering requires the services of a Graphic Designer to produce a full corporate branding set which includes the following items: Company Logo (short and complete formats) Our full logo may need to include a slogan possibly: DM Engineering Electronic Product Development Specialists Letterhead Business Cards *with QR code for easy capturing to device (we will provide QR code graphic) Website Banner Website graphics (a small selection of tech images/artworks to spruce up the website) - optional We need a designer who has knowledge of the electronics/technology space and can capture our companies essence (innovative, analytical, tech savvy, deliver robust solutions, enjoy challenges, we always exceed expectations). Basically we are a bunch of Nerds sprinkled with geeks. Colour Scheme: We are partial to Blue and Green colours. But are open to advice on main colour and accent colours that go well together. Image/Themes: We are looking for a logo and images that conveys a technical competency while maintaining simplicity. The Logo may contain the Company name DM Engineering or a shortened form, DMEng. Alternatively we would appreciate suggestions on a graphic that conveys the design and development work we do. Fonts used should be clear and neat. As a startup looking for clientele and investments we need our branding, especially our business cards, to be eye-catching and memorable.
