I have written many PHP web applications, including performance tuning. This is my first time using freelancer, but I have 5+ years of professional software development experience, as well as 10+ years of personal & volunteer experience. PHP was my first programming language, and I often return to it because it is where I am most comfortable: it allows you to do just about anything - though that can also be a danger: it allows very inefficient code.
