Hello! We are Headpin Studios, a small team consisting of only two members. We're currently working on a 2D-Platformer game with a pixel art style to try and unveil to the populace sometime in 2019 ideally. We've managed to gather art assets from another pixel artist to help with basic levels, but we're looking to create some more detailed assets specifically for our project. As well as that we're in need of characters designed and animated, as well as a variety of different enemies. As it is currently known of, these are the things that will for certain be needed:
-Title screen with basic buttons for things like "play, continue, load, options, credits, quit"
-Main character, complete with animations for idle, running left, running right, jumping, and shooting with a variety of weapons, as well as reloading of weapons and use of variety of special abilities
-Several different enemy varieties, complete with idle, running left, running right, jumping, and shooting/melee with specified weapon types
-NPC characters, with idle, running left, running right, jumping, and shooting with specified weapon types, as well as reloading
-Tilesets for several different level types (Medical wing of a ship, market district on a space station, ship bridge, cargo hold, spacewalk, engineering bay, more may follow in time but currently this is all that is known)
-Weapon sprites, health kit sprites, futuristic battery sprites, etc.
-GUI for pause function, as well as a Health bar, ammo counter, and ability bar.
Some of these details may change as development goes forward, as the design of the game can be very nebulous at times, but as it currently stands those are the ones we KNOW are going to be needed. Reference images will be researched and provided for artists. We request that you have experience with working with pixel art, a bonus if you know how to use Pyxel Edit.
