I am looking to hire a professional website architect to establish a site focused on a new business of domain funding via pawn services. I have been making great returns through the funding of domain names to owners who may or may not be using the domain names for websites.
The process works just like a regular pawn shop, only it focuses solely on domain names and/or websites. There are three scenarios: 1) The user owns an unused domain name; 2) The user owns a domain name and a functioning website; or 3) The user leases out a domain name to another website. Most users will fall into one of the first two categories. But mostly, the process begins when a user owns a domain name and wants to get some money together for development of that website or for any other personal use, although we usually have some web development requirement. We lend money to the user based on the value of the domain name, just like a pawn shop would lend on the value of a watch. Just like a pawn shop, we take possession of the domain name into our account and only release it upon repayment of the short term loan. If the loan is not repaid, we become the full owner of the domain name and any associated website.
Recently, the demand for our loans has skyrocketed and we are interested in developing a web platform which will allow users to post domain names which they are interested in “pawning”. Because we can only process a limited number of transactions internally, the key to this platform is that we will “connect” borrowers and lenders together and handle all of the servicing, transfers, oversight, and collections on behalf of the lending parties. We envision this as a “bid” type of system, where the following process occurs:
1) A user owns a valuable domain name and needs money for developing a website;
2) He posts this domain name, the reason why he needs funds, the amount of time, etc. that the money is needed for.
3) Registered “Lenders” are notified of a new potential opportunity and are given the option to submit a lending offer to the user. This includes the amount of money, the term, the rate, etc. – all of which will be recommended by our site and which will get posted to a project organizational board.
4) Unlike a straight “bid” the user will be able to search lender profiles and select the one who is most aligned with the required terms.
5) The borrower accepts the terms and the lender submits payment to our site or through an escrow service or PayPal.
6) Upon receipt of funds, we initiate the transfer of the domain to our servers or preferred registrar.
7) Once we are holding the domain name, we transfer the funds to the borrower.
8) Our site services the collection of the money from the borrower, either in monthly installments or as a lump sum amount at the end of a specified period of time.
9) Upon satisfaction of repayment, we release the domain back to the original owner.

We will also require a monthly service agreement for search optimization and ongoing maintenance so please take that into consideration when submitting your proposal.
