Design a logo

Bonanza Resort Logo I am the Marketing Manager for Bonanza Resort that is opening 23 October, and we still do not have a logo confirmed for the Resort and will need your expertise to help us design something. We are located in Lusaka, Zambia. Bonanza first opened in 2012 the with a Residential Estate consisting of over 200 5-acre plots, with the centre of the Estate left for leisure development. In August 2017 Bonanza then opened a Peter Matkovich 18-hole golf course, so named Bonanza Golf Course. And now this October we will be opening the Resort – this consists of: • 249 four-star hotel • Spa • Gym • 4 restaurants on the entire complex • 3 bars – including a microbrewery and & pub • Conferencing facilities: o Hotel: 1 main banquet hall which can be subdivided into 3 smaller venues. Plus 3 separate meeting rooms o Golf course: 1 conference venue • Convention centre – capable to host concerts, meetings, gala dinners, award shows and much more • Chapel for weddings It is essential to understand the elements that make the Bonanza Story which needs to be captured in the logo. The base of elements are: 1. Pioneering spirit. Doing something that has never been done before. Being entrepreneurial 2. Creating something out of nothing 3. Preserving the natural habitat 4. Being green and energy efficient 5. Creating fun and entertainment 6. Engaging with the community. Employing in the area, buying all produce from local farmers, blending into the community And being a part of the local community. 7. appealing to a motivated and aspirational population 8. Watching the best sunset in Lusaka 9. Being part of the Africa Rising story 10. Focusing on excellence, quality and being of service to our guests I have an example of a logo that we have started working on for the Resort. Please note that the font has been agreed thus far – the font is Aparajita. What we need work on is the image/ icon to connect the Bonanza story to the logo and this is what we need your help on.
