Build an adobe illustrator plugin to draw product configurations

We have released a new decorative lighting system called Typography. It’s a system of rails and lights – the lights can be mounted anywhere on the rails, and in four orientations (top/bottom/left/right on horizontal rails, left/right/back/front on vertical rails).
We would like to build an Adobe Illustrator plugin to enable designers to easily draw various configurations of the lights, drawn to scale.

The user interface must be exceptionally easy to use and be well designed, reflecting Rakumba’s high end market positioning.
All code must be delivered to a high standard, bug free, efficient for processing and without security risks/flaws. The plugin must not slow down Illustrator’s performance.
Plugin installation instructions need to be provided as part of the project scope.
All work remains the property of Rakumba, all code is to be delivered as part of the final project. All work is confidential and shall not be shared without explicit permission from Rakumba in writing and in advance.
The first phase of the project will require you to propose the user interface design, this will be signed off once complete and prior to proceeding with the remainder of the work.
Please only respond if you have solid proven experience with this type of project, and provide examples of plugins you have previously developed.
Delivery timeframe – maximum 4 weeks to completion, first version due within approximately 2 weeks.
