DESCRIPTION: This App will be a tool to connect like-minded individuals of a specific interest/hobby group together to share and interact with each other. It will utilize a world map with 'pins' placed by users to identify locations of interest with comments and photos. Also, there will be a bulletin board type conversation thread page that will be linked to the map (Think FACEBOOK on a Globe so you can see what people are saying in a particular area). In addition, there will be reference splash pages with links to sponsor's web pages, in-app advertising, and in-app purchases for products and possibly subscription-type items. The app will utilize location and notification features including pop-up notes and update badges. Users will create accounts with usernames and passwords and be able to post to the map, update their own profile, and communicate via PM between other users.
INTERFACE: The environment should feel fresh and unique but be very easy to navigate and not seem complicated.

I am looking for a programmer with graphics abilities, although this is more of a utility app and will not be graphically intensive. Graphic design will be for logo, splash screen, and interesting UI.
