I am developing a game to be played on the iPad. The back-end programming of the game itself is complete but the visual design of the game screens is pending. There are 4 game screens that need to be designed - the main game play area, the settings screen, the Instructions screen and the Hall of Fame screen.
## Deliverables
The game on the iPad has the following screens (I have attached screenshots for you to better understand):
1. The game, which is the main screen. The grids to solve are either 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5. There is a practice level at 2x2. Each square in the grid is 50x50px. The game screen has buttons to go to previous or next level. And a clock to tell you how many seconds you've got left.
2. Settings screen..for some very basic user preferences
3. Instructions screen. This is actually a simple HTML page that explains how to play the game.
4. Hall of Fame. This screen is also an HTML page that lists the top scorers for each level. There will be 20-25 levels in the game.
In addition, each screen has a corresponding tab that you will see in the tab bar at the bottom of each screenshot. Currently in the screenshots attached, all the tabs use the same icon but we need different icons for each tab.
The screenshots attached are in landscape mode. But the game should work in portrait mode also. So the design has to scale gracefully in both modes for an iPad.
So here's what's needed:
1. Custom tab icons (only grayscale is permitted by Apple)
2. Custom buttons (previous, next)
3. Custom design for the game screen that works for grid sizes 2x2 to 5x5. This is the most important screen; it needs to be professional, fun and vibrant.
4. Custom design for the settings screen. The on/off switch will stay exactly the same - that's how it is on the iPhone. But other aspects like color scheme, height, width, font are all configurable.
5. Design for the web pages for Instructions and Hall of Fame. These should be consistent with the game's design, of course.
I am an independent developer and don't have a huge budget for this game. So please keep that in mind when you submit your estimates.
And if we can finish the project and process the payment in 2010, that would be ideal.
***Please include a lo-res version of the game screen in your bid. It will be useless without the accompanying individual image files but will give me an idea of your skill level and understanding.***
