True story of two others and myself riding horses from San Diego to Canada by horses, in 1970. 2600 miles. Through the mountains, and along the ocean, not to mention through a few towns. cities, and finding how so many even over 45 years ago were working being self effiecent off the grid, and living off the land, a lot like we were doing. I want to show how the horse was the tool the migration of humanity, and how just in the last century, we are now going through over one trillion pounds of fossil fuel daily into the air we breathe. The adventure has a lot of excitement, and shows ways of how there are certain things that have changed in four+ decades, but how there is always room for helping, and improving.
