RSS Reader in Flash Requires Modifications

I have a currently working, custom RSS Reader written in Flash that needs some modifications. RSS Reader gets configuration information from a remote configuration file 1) Flash client software has basic hard-coded buttons. Need for button configuration to be retrieved from remote xml file and client software uses this information to setup label, color and url clicked location. 2) Client has hard-coded width and height. Need for width and height to be retrieved from xml file xml file and client software uses this information to setup client width and height. 3) Client app currently reads remote configuration xml file one-time and saves to local system. I need for client app to read remote configuration xml file at a configurable interval and adjust rss client reader if based on new config info. 4) Client currently sends activation key to server. Need for client app to also send the computer machines name to server with activation key.
