Fix / remove slice string function in actionscript project that gets data from XML

Need help ASAP! I have a project that gets data from XML like the following: <background>image:assets/[login to view URL]</background> The "image:" is like a label that can specify a content type such as "youtube:" or "video:" however, I want to always use images and remove the need to have "image:" specification in the XML In the actionscript when we get the data from the xml, there is a function that attempts to slice the string and get the type. I want to take this part out (remove it) and just assume that it will always be an image type coming from the xml if([login to view URL]() > 0){ var fbg = [login to view URL][0]; [login to view URL]([login to view URL]([login to view URL](":",0) + 1)); } also this var backgroundsArray:Array = getBackgroundsList().split(","); [login to view URL](); for(var i:int = 0 ; i < [login to view URL] ; i++){ var backgroundData = backgroundsArray[i]; var arr:Array = [login to view URL](":"); var backgroundType:String = arr[0]; [login to view URL](0 , 1); var backgroundSource:String = [login to view URL](":"); [login to view URL](backgroundType , [login to view URL]("@")[0] , [login to view URL]("@")[1]); } there are a couple other places in the code. i really don't understand enough actionscript to fix/modify it myself
