I have FULL CONFIDENCE of helping you out in Saginaw Scheduling Tool using a combination of Excel VBA and formulas, whatever is fastest. Mostly, we will be using Excel’s built-in facilities such as Array Formulas, Drop-down Lists, Data Validations, Outlining features, etc. but we will use VBA when the facilities are inadequate. Few comments/suggestions/questions:
1) I can see that the "Blending Profile" worksheet is the most complex one. Will this act as a "dashboard" sheet for the user? I mean is the user going to deal mainly with this worksheet or what? What sort of data entry will user perform on this worksheet? Will this be 0 or 1 only or some other numbers as well? The sheet also has print area defined so sizes of fonts/cells are going to be critical. Right?
2) I can see that the structure of sheets are protected but how do you intend to create data sections for subsequent dates? For example, for "Mill Work Sh", there are a total of 4 dates (30/1/2020 up to 2/2/2020) under the Inventory column. How do you suppose to handle additional dates, assuming subsequent dates such as 3/2/2020, 4/2/2020 and so on are required?
Although new to Freelancer.com, I have extensive experience in Excel, Formulas and VBA macros.
Thanks,
