We would like to merge two excel files to identify two variables: a unique id and a unique creating block id. The merge is based on similar names. The first excel file contains a list of 5,386 projects. Each project is unique and has a unique name. The second excel file contains 141,360 projects with a unique id and creating block id, however, each project can appear up to 5-10 times. Moreover, the names are sometimes very similar (e.g. Two key vs 2key). We would need to search manually for each of the unique 5,386 names to identify all ids that have the same or similar project name.
