Extracting/scraping data to excel and adding some formulas

Hi, - I am a software developer with proven and extensive experience writing Python scripts for web scraping with demonstrated quick turnaround. - Also, hands-on experience writing functions, routines and modules in Excel VBA. This is my approach: 1. Write a Python function to retrieve data from the 'Racing Post' website via web scraping 2. Build a COM server in Python to expose method from previous step, and interface with Excel 3. Create a COM client as a custom-defined Excel function to get racing data on the fly. 4. Add VBA program logic to add formula(s) required. Deliverables: - Python functions/scripts - Excel workbook with added custom-defined Excel function/VBA routines Look forward to hearing from you.
