Wondering if you can help me format/automate the attached spreadsheet that we’re intending to use for the tracking of our fleet maintenance and renewals.
I’d like your assistance with the following, by tab:
“Fleet listing”
• REG. EXPIRY Set in day/month/year format, cell to go red when entered date is prior to current date, orange when within 30-days of current date, and green when beyond 30-days of current date (in the future)
• COF EXPIRY Set in day/month/year format, cell to go red when entered date is prior to current date, orange when within 30-days of current date, and green when beyond 30-days of current date (in the future)
• COF IMMINENT Set in day/month/year format, cell to go orange when current date within 30-days of entered date
• LAST SERVICE Set in day/month/year format, cell to go red when current date greater than 30-days in the past
• SERVCE DUE Set in day/month/year format, cell to go orange when current date within 21-days of entered date
• CHAIN CERT Set in day/month/year format, cell to go orange when current date within 30-days of entered date
• CURTAIN CERT Set in day/month/year format, cell to go orange when current date within 30-days of entered date
• CURRENT ISSUES Drawing through each individual issue from “Issues – current” tab (as per the below)
• RESOLVED Tick-box next to each issue. Once ticked, the issue (and fleet number) will then move to the “Issues – completed” tab
“Issues – current”
This tab is to be used for new ‘issues’ to be entered and assigned to individual vehicles in the fleet. Note that these will be often be entered as multiple issues in one go, but I’d like each to be entered a new row. The issues will then pull through to the “Fleet listing” tab against each corresponding fleet number. Ideally the format is as follows:
• Fleet number A drop-down selection that allows the corresponding fleet number to be selected
• Current issue Free-text area to type description of issue in
• Some mechanism to allow them to be re-sorted by fleet number each time new issues are added, to enable ease of viewing of all issues for a given fleet number together
