I am a baker and manage 2 bakeries. Quality and consistency are very important to me, so scaling ingredients using baker’s math is key. I have found that using bakers math I can scale, to the gram, doughs, starters and sourdoughs, creams, toppings, sauces, etc... We can calculate ingredient weights based off the desired batch size, or even calculate batch size based off of ingredient weight. I have written a program in Excel for my bakers but would like to make an application that all bakers could easily use. The app will allow bakers to build, edit, scale, and share their formulas.
