Hi Everybody
The project i have is a controlling 5 leds from a ESP8266 using the pwm.
I had a prototype pcb milled out by a friend with a LDR circuit to the A/DC IN pin, a motion sensor input, & 5 x Mosfets to pwm the leds WRGBW.
I can program the esp and had a play with MCU/Lua. but due to work and family i don't have enough hours to get it finished off.
What i'm trying to do is use a pass word protected web page to allow me to change/set darkness on/off levels, be able to set/adjust LED on delay time. LED Brightness, set turn on color/auto color change etc. also a setting to be able to send out to data to a raspberry pi that the light is active/connected and when motion is detected & able to adjust on how many triggers needed to report to the raspberry. I want to program the esp so its sets the standard values at switch on and then stores any new updates to the esp.
To the right person i could have lots of interesting projects as i have a dormant diy electronics gadgets website & shopping cart awaiting ...
I am an electronic engineer with more than 10 years of experience. I can work on this project for you and provide you the code and guide you through the setup at your end. Please contact me to discuss details.
have been using the esp 8266 for the past two years and have used it on many iot projects. alexa controlled smart led lights, flame throwers, locks and other stuff, message me for more details or check my profile
Sounds like a nice project. Everything looks very achievable and I would be very interested in the project. For the esp8266 I program in C using the NONOS SDK.
One thing you didn't mention though - How do you intend to communicate with the raspberry pi? Perhaps a TCP connection between them.
I am having some good experience with esp8266 and esp32 both with native espressif rtos and non rtos SDK as well as the Arduino ide. Let me know if I can do it for you.
