I'm an experienced developer with a keen interest in the Raspberry Pi. I've worked on many Pi related projects using various input/output boards. Your project sounds very intriguing and I would be very interested in working with you. I've looked at the simple hydrophone design and should be able to source the parts easily here in the UK. I have used conventional microphones to record audio on the Pi and have also generated graphs from ultrasonic distance data so should be able to combine these ideas for your project.
