Curriculum designer

Yiyaabc is a China-based tutoring company that teaches basic conversational English to Chinese students aged 4 to 12 years old. Our tutors hail from all over the world, making us a very global team. Currently, we are developing the main teaching platform and we need a designer to create the presentations that will be integrated in said platform. We need someone who can create content according to our teaching needs. The hired applicant will work closely with our curriculum design team in order to produce the visual content necessary for the topics at hand. For instance, if the topic for the day involves teaching different colors, you must be able to create slides and content (e.g. exercises, games, etc.) that can help enhance the children’s learning. Apart from the slides, you should be able to add to the entire course design and have suggestions on how to improve. Basically, you have free rein and we welcome your creative input. Requirements include, but not limited to: - Graphic or illustration design experience is a must - Presentation must be appealing to children and easy to understand - Content should be related to the curriculum - No need to create your own elaborate illustrations; you may use existing photos or icons so long as they are related to the topic - Having previous experience with developing curriculum, especially in English, is a HUGE bonus - Passionate about design, children an overall sense of wanting to make a difference If this work is something that interests you and you would like to join our team, please apply with your rate and sample work or portfolio.
