Online Podcast Manager: 5hr/week -- 3

WHAT WE DO We are two co-founders running a small online training company, the Thought Leadership Academy. We support coaches, consultants and leaders to build a sustainable business around their ideas and get their message out in the world. We run a couple of coaching programs + a virtual 2,5 day immersion online. This year we are focusing more on our own marketing efforts and therefore launching our podcasts. This is where we need some help! ROLE DESCRIPTION We run a podcast on a weekly basis. This is done via a live on a Facebook page and then repurposed via [login to view URL] on all social media platforms including Youtube, other Facebook pages, Instagram and LinkedIn. RESPONSIBILITIES Help Repurpose the content onto other platforms Requires using [login to view URL] for both audio and video formats. Going through the video on repurpose, finding key one minute and 10 minute snippets to extract and re-use, exporting to drive and organizing. Publishing episodes on Achor and scheduling shows. Post Show responsibilities Informing guests that show is live with relevant links and following up with them when needed Preparing the links and completed video/audio snippets with social media assistant weekly ROLE GROWTH POTENTIAL If the role grows, there might be potential to grow with us and take on more responsibilities. Some potential for growth within the position further down the line: Help improve best strategies to grow the show ie SEO, social media strategies etc Preparing show notes and photos for social media Managing the podcast website/ blog PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS Solutions-oriented; tech doesn't always work the way we want, and you must be able to find solutions yourself when something isn't working. Detail-oriented; there are numbers and titles involved that have to be exact Ear for key information: you will be responsible for finding three 1-minute snippets and one 10-minute snippet in a 30 minute video that can be reused on social media to advertise the podcast. Passionate about media production and podcasting and sharing knowledge with others Native-level/ Fluent English speaker in both written and oral language Responsible and hard-working; we are looking for someone who is getting tasks done on time and is committed Great team-player and with a positive, friendly attitude; we are a small team and it's crucial that you want to be part of creating the best podcast episode possible and spreading the word on the amazing things we share!
