I currently have a functioning online magento store selling seat covers. They are custom seat covers. The company is very well known Saddleman. This is the requirement for the shopping cart. I will be purchasing a theme and will require the following programming.
We are selling configurable products.
There are 10 Seat Cover Fabrics
Each fabric has 1-6 different colors.
Then they will need to have drop down menus to match the following criteria.
year
make
model
submodel
bodytype
vehicletype
numdoors
drivetype
seatnotes (This attribute will have to have a seat note which describes the type of seat to help the customer see which seat he owns)
vehiclenotes
seat ( this will show a small icon graphic of the seat and how it looks, again to help the customer see which seat he has)
location
pattern
fabrics
The After selecting each attribute, a Special SKU code will be created which the company uses to make the customized seat cover. We will provide the code for each attribute, and at the end it should be compiled in a certain order which our company will use to create the cover. Please search us online to see how our site currently operates.
The flow of the ordering should go like this. Customer chooses Fabric product. Then it becomes customized by entering his vehicle.
We need to be able to upload vehicles via excel through the magento admin. We always adding new vehicles to the list and you will need to upload the vehicles via Excel spreadsheet.
Also everything needs to run within the core magento.. No modification of the core, everything needs to be clean coded. The issue with our last site that it was done by customizing many things and we lost functionality. We must be able to have product feed afterwards.
We are looking for someone with COMMUNICATION skills, which is most important. Expert magento skills and ability to work quickly. We look forwards to working with you.
