DATA MANAGEMENT SUPPORT CONSULTANCY

NAME OF PROJECT DATA MANAGEMENT SUPPORT CONSULTANCY OBJECTIVES The objective of the assignment is to create a program/system that would allow the measurement of the change achieved among the economic project holders who have achieved a complete support cycle at the time of the assignment. BACKGROUND Rebuilding Economies after Typhoon Ketsana and strengthening Baras Municipality Utilities for an Inclusive Local Development is a three-year inclusive livelihood and rights-based project with an objective to improve access of persons with disabilities to different developmental opportunities (livelihood, social, etc.). To complement this effort, the project will build the capacity of local stakeholders to enable them to implement programs and activities that are more inclusive of PWDs and other vulnerable groups. In addition, the project will build the capacity of the Baras disabled people’s organization, so that it becomes a significant and active local development stakeholder that will promote and advance the needs and rights of PWDs in development initiatives. The project aims to contribute in developing an inclusive society with equal opportunities for all. One of the targeted results of the REBUILD project is for vulnerable families in Baras to sustainably improve their socio-economic situation through individual support and the development of individual Livelihoods projects. This component offers opportunity to vulnerable households especially family members with disabilities referred to as Economic Project Holders (EPH) to launch or enhance income generating activities. REQUIREMENTS FOR FINAL OUTPUT This assignment requires the consultant to: 1/ Develop a data analysis system/program 2/ Provide training and technical support to the REBUILD team in operationalizing the data system Budget proposals should include: Fees and materials needed in developing the system Transportation cost to the field and accommodation during field visit will be directly paid by HI based on the agreed timeframe.
