Database driven portal

This is an online portal project for a print magazine. These are essential components of the portal. Project upon completion will become an extended contract gig with maintenance and updates for the portal.

Features:

1. Automated daily news release updates.

i. Media user accounts for submitting news releases.

ii. Process to approve or decline news release for posting.

iii. All releases moved to database, searchable by date or content

iv. Approved releases are placed in a queue for automatic updates

2. Subscription management for print magazine

i. Ability to purchase subscriptions online.

ii. Manage subscription details such as address change, renewal etc.

iii. Subscribed user benefits ….., <---- not priority

3. Profile management for users who create their identities online.

4. E-commerce

i. Online Store around 50 products initially but will vastly expand

5. Advertising for clients online.

i. Pay per click, cpm, rotation management, dedicated banners etc.

ii. Ad placement management

iii. Ad tracking

iv. Polls and survey creation for clients online

6. Pages for online version of print magazine (teaser content)

7. Visitor behavior tracking

The project will be subject to a strict NDA agreement, offshore companies will be monitored by our representatives at their location.
