My company, IVSTech, has developed a hosted web portal that needs to access data from within the customers firewall. The data that needs to be accessed is either stored in an Oracle or SQL Server Database. The system does what it needs to do when the database is on the hosted provider site but when the data is behind the customers firewall, we are unable to access the data.

hi, this task is firewall related task not SQL related task i can reconfigure the firewall to allow the DB access for your server IP please give me more details on firewall type this should take couple of hours maximum for configuration and testing

You will need to provide more details as to the message given for not able to access the DB. Probably the listening ports are not available through the firewall (I am sure you would have checked that). Is it possible to mirror the relevant tables to a server outside the firewall?
