a requirement for an insurance claims handling system which will record all of the companies insurance policies, deductibles, financials and claims data – ensuring that duplicate claims are not made, highlighting potential fraudulent cases, managing cases that are litigated and coming to court and has a workflow document storing system to ensure that claims can be dealt with in any location. The platform that will be used must be able to Record Claims, Incidents and Near Misses on a customisable, user friendly interface that has a minimum of the following fully customisable and reportable fields; − Claimant personal information (name, address, DOB, NI number). − Accident location including GIS mapping facility to identify other accidents within the vicinity and the ability to select addresses from a postcode lookup. − Cause of incident, department involved and ability to add custom fields. − Status of claim. − Other party information, including third parties, witnesses, litigation friends − Description of incident and ability to create events to link multiple claims to one event. − Workflow ability. − Auditable diary system allowing importing and exporting of documents, photographs, videos and emails. − Ability to create standard and custom letters, create actions, emails and notes. − Ability to export bundle documents together for preparation of court cases. − Other party information, including third parties, witnesses, litigation friends. − Financial information against each party with warnings against incorrect posting and authorisation limits and history to prevent fraud. − Auditable reserve history. − Litigation workflow to track claims that are litigated, including; i) Court and Judiciary Information ii) Barrister Information iii) Protocol Dates iv) Court Timetable v) Quantum evaluation vi) Witness information vii) Outcome and settlement information 2.3 The system must have the ability to anonymise records whilst retaining financial and event data to comply with GDPR, reporting requirements to insurers and to retain the ability to carry out fraud checks using historic data.
