There are two tasks for completing this project: 1) adapt the mentioned code so it can show images within the tree circles instead of a question mark (this is basically done by utilising a combination of defs, pattern and image SVG elements at each tree node) 2) retrieving your users image set and feeding it as input to the D3 tree. This will depend on your database structure and framework or it could even be a static JSON file if you don't have a live user database. Let me know if you have further questions.
