Fix a drop down menu

Hello,
I recently created a drop down menu, and I need some help with two issues.

1. Responsive
Firstly I'd like the drop down menu to be responsive, and not break on smaller devices / browsers. Also the alignment is wrong on the menu items — these should be aligned to the box above.
2. Selection
Secondly, I don't know if this is possible, however a client has asked that once you select an item on the drop down menu that you immediately be sent back to the top of the menu so you can action the 'go' button. Failing this, could you please provide a quote on how much it would cost to remove the go button, and smply have the link actioned from the selection of each item?
