Location : SAN LEANDRO CA Duration : 18 months Contact Person : bharath AT appnetglobal DOT com Job Description : Leads the development and implementation of highly complex internet and intranet applications on one or more diverse platforms. Uses advanced knowledge of web technologies, including C++, Java, Java Script, HTML, CGI, XML, Perl, ASP, multimedia applications, database modeling tools and/or database interactions. Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution. Researches and tracks new web technologies, develops service applications, and analyzes business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems. Responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards. May provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Wells Fargo is replacing its in-house built ATM and POS transaction processing system with a more modern vendor application. Vendor application is Core Java, runs on Linux and uses an Oracle DB. This senior level java developer will be expected to provide subject matter expertise/development and guidance to the less experience staff. Previous experience with ATM/POS payment or messaging systems is preferred. • 5+ years of Java technologies. • Strong OOAD skills design patterns domain modeling re-factoring • Senior level java server side software development source code generation (tools, concepts, issues) awareness of java community knowledge of open source projects. aware of differences between versions of java platform • Experience web services (JSON) • Experience with SOAP (XML/HTTP) based web services • Experience with build automation • Experienced with version control software • Must be able to work independently (ie, self-directed)
