Hi Matt, I’m Pete, a Squarespace designer and developer with extensive experience in the scoping, design and development of modern and minimalist websites. I would be happy to work with you on revamping your Squarespace site, especially through the use of a more portfolio based template will present the images of your lighting and sculptures at their full glory. I generally approach website design & developments in a few key phases: Elly Understood - Discuss your requirements, run through the functionality (Instagram, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, site navigation) required, the look and feel you are after (any examples of website that have caught your eye), goals/objectives and also for me to understand who your target audience is. - Run through the requirements and design to ensure there are no gaps in my understanding. - Discuss site branding, content and images. - Create and share a project management board containing cards which outline the steps and due dates of the development tasks. The Build - Commence site design/development/feedback cycle. - Integrate with 3rd party systems. Optimise - Setup (if required) Google Analytics. - Submit site map to Google for indexing. - Conduct keyword research and optimise the website pages. Go Live - Full testing and quality checks using desktop and mobile browsers.
