Marketing Communications and Social Media Coordinator A leading specialty Audio-Video Furniture manufacturer is seeking an experienced individual for copywriting, public relations and managing digital marketing efforts. Work in a highly creative and entrepreneurial business environment. This is a 25 hour/week position that may develop into full-time, reporting to the firm’s Creative Director. Candidates must be located in greater Hartford, Connecticut. Duties and Responsibilities: Copywriting and Content Management (35%) Create and manage content for web, collateral, posts and blogs Support the creative department copy needs Product video coordination and copywriting Provide ongoing updates and improvements to website copy, content Public Relations & Advertising (15%) Direct Media Buying and Pay-Per-Click management SEO Management Develop advertising concepts and layouts Manage and distribute ad materials to magazines and catalogs Write and disseminate press releases Develop monthly promo and/or announcement with Sales team Email / eCRM Campaigns Marketing (20%) Create Campaigns and distribute emails to our distinct market audiences Manage CRM lists and groups Reporting and analysis of digital marketing efforts Social Media Management (15%) Create regular posts and efforts to expand social networks Facebook,Linked-in Pinterest, Houzz Trade Show Support and Special Projects (15%) Develop custom materials to support several national industry trade shows such as invitations, promotional materials Develop customized materials as needed Support preparation of proposals for new business Other, as assigned Required skills and qualifications: Excellent writing and communication skills Proven track record executing successful ad campaigns Creative thinker who can contribute to the overall sales strategy Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a sense of urgency Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be located near Greater Hartford area Knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook Strong Web social skills and experience We offer: Competitive base salary and benefits
