I am looking to create a program using the Adafuit Feather M4 Express, along with the Adafruit Prop Maker Board for the Feather. The specifics of the boards can be found below. Also the boards have the following components as part of them. This project is to be completed using the Arduino C/C++ Style language on the M4 board. Adafruit Feather M4 Express: [login to view URL] Adafruit Feather Prop Maker Board: [login to view URL] Analog Audio output: [login to view URL] LIS3DH Triple-Axis Accelerometer: [login to view URL] Arduino Writing to Flash Memory: [login to view URL] Adafruit NeoPixels Library: [login to view URL] All of this is possible using the Feather Prop Maker Board: The guide above provides the detailed information on the pin outs, you can also see some particulars to using the Arduino IDE with the feather hardware here: [login to view URL] I am looking to create a project that outputs to the NeoPixels using the FastFire2012 library, as well as the Adafruit NeoPixels code I want it to have the following modes 1) Fire (Red, white, Yellow, Black, Orange) (NeoPixel Pattern) 2) Energy (Green, White, Yellow, Black light orange) (NeoPixel Pattern) 3) Water (Blue, White, Yellow, Green, Black) (NeoPixel Pattern) 4) lighting (White, Black, Yellow, light blue) NeoPixel Pattern 5) Rainbow cycle (Adafruit Neo Pixel Library) For the functionality I would like a push button to be used to select the mode, by pressing down on a momentary button and holding it down for more than 3 seconds, you enter mode selection. You can then select one of the 4 modes above. The mode selection would then be written to the flash memory of the Feather M4 Board. Mode is exited by holding the button for 3 more seconds. When you press the momentary button, you have an audio “Power-Up” sound, and the neo-pixels light up to the selected pattern. While the NEO Pixles are lit up, and there is limited to no motion it plays an “idle” sound on a loop (continuously). When you “swing” the prop weapon, it registers and plays a “Swing” sound. If a certain velocity is reached or using the tap feature of the LIS3DH you can register a “Hit” sound, and the NeoPixels light up a solid color such as all white, then return to the selected pattern. When you press the momentary button again there is a “Power-down” sound and the neo pixels turn off. Think of this a lot light a light saber from Star Wars. When the sword is lit up I would like to make the LED in the button light up as well. This can be done with a simple setting of the LED button to high. I will detail this port/button below. Buttons/Pin outputs for Feather M4 board: Number of Neo Pixels: 60 Neo Pixel Pin: 5 Power Pin: 10 – Used to supply power for NeoPixels, needs to be set to High) Button Pin: 9 Red LED Pin: 11 – Used for 3W LED’s On the Prop Maker Board Green LED Pin: 12 - Used for 3W LED’s On the Prop Maker Board Blue LED Pin 13- Used for 3W LED’s On the Prop Maker Board LIS3DH Pins: SCK: 25 MOSI: 24 MISO: 23 CLK: 6 Sounds: To be stored on the flash memory in a “Sounds” directory [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Configuration: To be stored on the flash memory in a file named “[login to view URL]”
