General information for the business: Call Accounting &Billing
Kind of development: New program from scratch
Description of every module: Call Accounting, Billing API system for Microsoft Lync 2013
In order to attain the purpose of this project, installation setup will be executed on computer and all quality reports will be accessed through a web application.
Note that all the system components must be represented as Windows services that can interact with any interface with API, so the reports &configurations must not be built-in the web-interface
Description of requirements/functionality: Design and develop a call accounting billing system, that integrates with Microsoft Active Directory, Lync 2010 - 2013 databases, PMS or even a PMS simulator as it's unavailable to generate reports from a database.
.exe Installation Module, and depending on the licence key entered the application installs a Hotel User Interface or an Office User Interface.
This will be a web application. That generates and views calls and billing reports from a database. The database must be filled in with parsed CDR data retrieved from Microsoft Lync 2010 - 2013. You can use any technologies desired from the listed ones:
.NET
ASP
IIS
SQL
MySQL
Java
GlassFish
TomCat
Before awarding this project to a developer, the developer must create a proposal document including the design of the system from the requirements attached and write a critical appraisal section illustrating the technologies that will be used and how about the developer intends to go about developing the system referring the architectural design of RESTfull HTTP API to handle all requests from the web application interface to another API to communicate the requests and responses from the server etc to database. The developer must stick to this architectural design, however the developer is free to propose an Object Oriented design of a system development methodology to use MVC methodology, Component-Based or even evolutionary prototyping etc.. The code must be very loosely coupled with high cohesion and well documented.
The developer will be required to create a simple pilot program to connect to a Lync database, retrieve, parse and save CDR file content in a SQL or MySQL database and make an SQL query to display the results on a web page. This will be required to show the experience and to prove that you can do and complete this project successfully within the given time frame. You can use any technologies you desire from the above listed technologies.
CMS and Admin requirements: Web application, Desktop installation.
Administrator, Supervisor access are also via web application. Normal users access it by given privileges by the administrator. The telephone extension users can also access the web application using their domain LDAP username and password only if they have privileges by the admin.
Specific technologies required: .NET, ASP, IIS, SQL, MySQL, Java, GlassFish, TomCat
OS requirements: Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Other
