Merlin Street House Renovation - Project Description
There’s a 2 story house that’s being renovated here in Sydney. Amongst other things, some walls are being demolished, some are being added. There is a new TV room, and an enlarged bedroom upstairs. The rear terrace (to the West) is getting a new slab to support pavers, and the front yard (to the East) may get some new concrete stairs.
Drawings
There will be 2 sets to be issued. You can use the Dudley St DWG’s as a template, but copy the title block information across from the PDF set ‘180313 Struc Markups Final’.
Two separate sets to be issued:
Set #1 = For Information - Revision A (A3 PDF’s)
This set is to be issued as soon as finished. It is basically a cover sheet, notes sheet, and everything I’ve marked up except for a few elements that I’ve clouded which are on hold until I get more information from the architect. For the areas that I’ve clouded, please draft the cloud, but not the stuff that I’ve drawn within the cloud.
Set #2 = For Construction – Revision B (A3 PDF’s & DWG’s)
This set will just be some updates, mainly the stuff in the clouds which I’ll get from the architect in a few weeks, but there may be some other minor tweaks.
Milestone Payments
Set #1 = 65% of fee
Set #2 = 35% of fee
I’ve posted a set of drawings titled 'Dudley St - Example Set' to show you what the drawings should look like once complete. The new set will need to include:
Cover Sheet S00 – please refer to Dudley St example. Google maps file provided
Notes sheet S01 – refer to Dudley St 'Notes sheet markups' (red markups need addressing on our notes sheet)
Footings Plan S02 – Refer page 7 of PDF ‘180313 Struc Markups Final’. See also Dudley St for example.
Level 2 Plan S03 – Refer page 8 of PDF ‘180313 Struc Markups Final’. See also Dudley St for example.
Level 3 Plan S04 – Refer page 9 of PDF ‘180313 Struc Markups Final’. See also Dudley St for example.
Roof Plan S05 – Refer page 6 of PDF ‘180313 Struc Markups Final’. See also Dudley St for example.
Sections & Details S06 – Please draft Sections AA and BB on page 8 and Steel Column Base Plate Detail on page 7 of PDF ‘180313 Struc Markups Final’. Section CC is not required for Set #1, but may be required for Set #2.
Sections & Details S07 & S08 – Copy same details from Dudley St drawings S10 & S11
