I ultimately want electronic artwork for a children's app/book, but this project will consist of a single scene. If the quality is sufficiently good, I will post the remaining extension (tiled background, additional artwork) as an additional project. Please do not make a bid unless you will be available for the second project.

The attached prototype artwork needs to be made more lifelike, more 3 dimensional, more beautiful, more elegant, more elaborate. All artwork must be layered with at least three positions to allow for facial expression for all characters and body movement. For example, our app software engineer should be able to make fish swim, jump out of water, etc.
Work must be done in Photoshop, returning a .psd file where the folders are named with clear intuitive naming conventions reflecting the objects in the tool. The Layer names should be something like "spider_leg01" or "bug_wing02" to make life easier and ready to import into an interactive system . The more layers the better.
