I have several years of experience writing original content for projects such as press releases for musical artists, small business marketing copy and some work in social media branding.
Additionally, I am a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where I obtained two bachelor's degrees, double-majoring in the fields of Comparative Literature, (with an emphasis in Cultural Studies,) and English Literature. While writing my own analytical essays and completing the research for my studies — which ranged in everything from critical theory, to modern philosophy, to the New Russian cinema — I also spent a great deal of time editing peers' academic work, consulting with associate professors on additional academic projects and revising personal letters and documents of many kinds. In 2015, I participated in UCI's annual Undergraduate Critical Theory Conference, sitting on a panel of nominated speakers and presenting 15 minutes of original written content. Experiences such as this one demonstrate my diligence for completing extensive research on wide arrays of subjects, as well as my ability to articulate original ideas and generate them into a neatly-polished final product.
