Technical sales writer and editor for hotel technology

We’re building software for the hospitality industry, and we need a passionate writer and editor with strong attention to detail, good teamwork, and has a joyful positive outlook. We need a person who can take the lead in crafting a great message that will resonate with customers. It involves identifying various challenges each day, based on real world problems facing hotels, travelers and the solutions we can provide. To really excel in this role, you need to put yourself in the shoes of our customers: Figure out how to win the hearts and minds of subscribers, and determine how hotels can improve services, be more efficient and be the best in their fields. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Take the lead in organizing the publication schedule of various content. 2. Craft articles for posting both to our own website and to external websites as guest posts. 3. Conduct A/B copywriting experiments on landing pages, email campaigns, etc. 4. Create various drip campaigns and monitor results. 5. Research data of interest to our target audience. 6. Continuously monitor and improve the marketing plan to gain new sign-ups. The main deliverable for this role are new subscribers each month. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Number one skill needed is a strong attention to detail. 2. Number two skill needed is a strong sense of responsibility. Somebody who has to be followed-up several times is not a good fit for this role. Somebody who likes to complain instead of taking action is also not a good fit for this role. 3. Must have 3+ years experience in writing online content/blogs. 4. Need someone who can take ownership of tasks and is able to commit to regular meetings and deliverables.
