Brief
Black Book Fashion will be a multi-vendor marketplace to host independent brands and boutiques in key shopping locations in Asia. Eventually carrying 1000’s of products for several hundreds of brands and boutiques, we will be launching our first online store for Bali in early 2018. For this we require a SEO savvy blogger/writer to help us create content for our blog.
The brand
Black Book Fashion is ‘your secret collection of fashion boutiques’. It brings the best boutiques from the world’s favorite destinations to our freedom loving, independent and fashion forward customers. The shopping experience on the site is a tropical-chic fashion holiday with a dash of sophistication. The first destination is Bali, after which we will be adding other destinations during 2018.
The Team
Our BBF team includes a community manager who manages our Instagram and Facebook pages and we also have an SEO specialist working for us. The editorial direction will be set in consultation with myself, the founder and our SEO specialist and possibly with our community manager. We do want to give free creative reign to the writer in order to communicate
What we’re looking for
An experienced, preferably Bali-based writer with a keen interest in fashion, design and the Bali lifestyle. The purpose of the blog is to be an aspirational platform and draw readers in with original content, a unique writing perspective and beautiful prose; all optimized with SEO keywords of course which we will provide you with. We are not looking for top-10 lists like- ‘the looks you must have now’ type articles which are generally quite shallow. We prefer interesting articles, sharing experiences, introducing interesting people from Bali not exclusively in the fashion industry but form other walks of life, interesting lifestyle, fashion, dining and cultural events etc. The concept of Black Book Fashion is Destination Shopping, this is what makes us unique from other marketplaces who simply sell stuff, we are promoting a destination and the designers living and working there, promoting the lifestyle and the people that make Bali unique.
